Where to turn in case of emergencies in Georgia

In Georgia, in case of any emergencies, you should call the number 112. Emergencies include situations that require the involvement of the police, fire and rescue services, and ambulance. The call is free of charge*.

When calling the number 112, the caller should provide the operator with the following information:

  • What happened (type of incident, required emergency crews);
  • The exact location of the incident;
  • The full name of the caller.

  • A service fee of 40 tetri is deducted monthly from all subscribers for the service.

112 Application

There is also an application for iOS and android to contact the 112 service. The application features:

  • Silent call - SOS (emergency button). GPS must be enabled, and the police will be directed to the transmitted address;
  • Chat. With GPS enabled, the application will also save the coordinates and pass them on to the police in case of a lost connection;
  • Call. With GPS enabled, the coordinates are also transmitted.
