In 1963, the monument was covered with aluminum. It remained in this form until the 1990s when some of the sheets were lost.
In the 1990s, the monument was redesigned - the facial features, headgear, and long sleeves of the dress were changed. The monument itself was made of concrete panels painted in silver.
